Association between the incidence of organ injuries and the number of complications. The incidences of concentric left ventricular hypertrophy (c-LVH), severe retinopathy (H3/H4) and renal impairment (eGFR < 30) were increased with the number of complications. The patients with HFrEF, cerebral hemorrhage (CH) and cerebral infarction (CI) had relatively low incidence rates even among the subgroups with larger numbers (i.e., 3 and 4) of complications and higher aldosterone concentrations. The patients with thrombotic microangiopathy (TMA) were found exclusively in the subgroup with 4 complications.
